BDG LifeSciences is a distinguished bioinformatics company established in 2010 and operates globally. Headquartered in India, the company specializes in facilitating workshops, training programs, novel and innovative research projects, and online courses in bioinformatics and life sciences. BDG LifeSciences is registered under the Ministry of MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), Government of India, with the registration number UDYAM-UP-01-0019151. In January 2024, BDG LifeSciences, India, has authorized BBR Group Pty Ltd., Australia (ACN 608 550 849), to operate its programs in Australia and New Zealand and since doing it successfully in the region.
With a strong focus on the practical application of technology, BDG LifeSciences provides hands-on training where participants work on their own computers/laptops using specialized software and servers. The company has been a leader in this sector for the last 16 years, successfully educating a diverse range of participants, including students, scientists, faculty members, professors, and corporate executives worldwide.
Innovation & creativity is an integral part of BDG Lifesciences and we always launch new programs on the newest topics. In the series of re-launching our NGS Workshops, this one is a 4-day Technical Hands-on Certificate Online Workshop in Whole Genome Sequencing Analysis | Animal Genomes (Alignment / Denovo) & Human Genomes (SNP / INDEL). It will be an extensive 4-day training program in which every day 60-90 minutes interactive training sessions will be conducted to give the user a unique learning experience. Participants will receive video recordings after each session, ensuring flexibility in learning. On successful completion of the course participation certificate will be awarded.
As it is 100% hands-on training program participants will run the processes on their own computer systems having Windows/ Mac/ Linux with a unique learning experience. The program will be of great help to students/ researchers/ faculty/ pathologists/ scientists in learning this latest technology to analyze the Whole Genome Sequencing Data.
3 to 7 March, 2026. Live trainer will take online sessions from 8:30 PM - 10 PM India time +5:30 GMT on Zoom.
Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) is transforming modern biology, clinical diagnostics, precision medicine, and research innovation. With the explosive growth of genomic data, the ability to analyze, interpret, and extract meaningful insights from sequencing data is now one of the most in-demand skills in life sciences. This program is designed to provide structured, practical, and industry-relevant training in genome analysis workflows. It aims to deliver a powerful combination of theoretical clarity and real-time data analysis experience using global-standard tools and platforms.
Participants will gain hands-on expertise in alignment, de novo assembly, SNP/INDEL analysis, variant annotation, and genome interpretation, making this workshop highly valuable for both academic and industry professionals.
