How online workshops/training conducted?

Interactive training sessions are conducted on Google Meet/Zoom to give users a better learning experience. For this you should have a Zoom/Google Account.

In the Online programs, there will be a LIVE trainer who will solve queries along with training.

How to register?

Go to the website, click on the workshop/training/course you want to attend and you will be directed to a new page where you will find the details and registration tab, click on it and you will be directed to the payments page where you need to select the correct category in which you fall. Select number of ticket/s (registration for 1 or whatever number of people want to join) you want to buy and proceed for payment.

Registration Categories?

The registration category defines your current position/whereabouts.

  • If you are currently an Undergrad/Graduate/Master student in India then you should register under Student (Graduate/Master) Category.
  • If you have completed your Undergrad/Graduate/Master in India and not doing anything currently and are in India at the time of workshop then your category will be Student (Graduate/Master).
  • If you have completed your Undergrad/Graduate/Master outside India and not doing anything currently and residing in India then your category will be Student(Graduate/Master).
  • If you are enrolled in PhD or doing MBBS in India then you should register under Student (PhD/MBBS) category. Same category will be applied for JRF
  • If you have completed your PhD and working as SRF in India or you are doing MS or MD after MBBS in India then you should register under the category of Research Fellow/Research Scholar/TA/LT/Student(MS/MD)
  • If you have completed your PhD and not doing anything currently then your category will be Research Fellow/Research Scholar/TA/LT/Student (MS/MD)
  • If you have completed your PhD or MBBS outside India and not doing anything currently and residing in India then your category will be Research Fellow/Research Scholar/TA/LT/Student (MS/MD).
  • If you are teaching in India then you should register under the category PostDoc/Lecturer/Faculty/Professor
  • If you are a Post Doc in India then you should register under the category PostDoc/Lecturer/Faculty/Professor
  • If you are working in India in any research institute, research lab, path lab or in a company then you should register under the category Scientist/Company Professional/Doctor (MS/MD)
  • If you are working as a Research Associate, Research Assistant or you are a Doctor (MS/MD) and currently in India then you should register under the category Scientist/Company Professional/Doctor (BDS/MS/MD).
  • Any individual’s last position decides the category because a person who has recently left a job, say in 2023 and did their Masters in 2012 will not come in the category of Student (Graduate/Master). Their correct category would be their last position.
  • Foreign Participant category is for those who are currently NOT in India. It is for those who are Living or Studying or Working outside India at the time of the program.

I am Indian having Indian passport living outside India what will be my category?

The category will be Foreign.

What is a professional ID?

This can be your Student ID Card or Research Institute ID Card or Company ID Card.

I don’t have ID, what to upload?

You can upload any document related to your current position, means the category in which you are registering.

Example, you have got admission into PhD but you have not got the ID card then you can upload confirmation/admission letter.

  • The category in which you are registering you have to upload the ID of that like Student ID Card or University ID Card or Institute/Company ID Card.
  • If you have completed your education and had a gap and in that gap you were not doing anything then upload the ID of your last education or any document which will confirm that you were the student. 
  • If you were working and then took a break then your registration category will be your last position research Scholar or Scientist or Company Professional and you have to upload the ID of that or any document which will confirm your last position.
  • You should strictly NOT upload any government issued ID card specifically AADHAR, PAN or PASSPORT.

Can I upload Government ID, like PAN, AADHAR, PASSPORT?

NO, you can’t.

Is there group discount?

If you are a group of 5 or more and want to attend/join same program then do write to info@bdglifesciences.com You will get the discount.

I cannot attend the program; can I cancel and get refund?

No, Registration once done is non-refundable.

I cannot attend the program; can I transfer it to my friend?

No, Registration once done is non-transferable.

I cannot attend the program for which I registered but now I cannot attend, can I attend the next one?

Yes, you can but you need to write email to info@bdglifesciences.com at least 10 days prior to the event for which you registered and cannot attend.

 

I have paid for the program and I could not attend because of any reason, will I get the certificate?

 

No, You have to attend the session to get the certificate. If you will not attend the session then please don't ask for the certificate because WE DO NOT SELL certificates.

What about Travel, Food and Accommodation for onsite programs?

You have to manage on your own.

By mistake I registered in the wrong category, now what to do?

You have to pay the difference amount between the two categories and this should be done positively by 4 hours before the start of the program.

Do I have to perform the tasks of Workshop/Training?

As we believe in a different way of learning which is HANDS-ON PRACTICAL SESSIONS our workshops/training are unique because participants perform on their own computer/laptop on software/servers, so it is 100 % practical application of technology hence the experiments/tasks are to be performed. It is mandatory to complete all the given tasks by the trainer.

I want to do internship?

All internships at BDG Lifesciences is paid, means you have to pay the fee to do it because we will give you a novel research project, then give you training and prepare you with industry demanding skill sets so that you have a solid profile to enter the professional world.

When will I get the video recording?

It will be sent at the earliest.

How long I can access the videos?

3 months from the time of the program. If you want to access after that you have to pay a nominal fee.

Will video recording of the same session which I attended will be provided?

It depends on the program, if the topics, method of teaching, trainer and other things are same then NO you will get video of the previous same program. If there is any new topic or new trainer or new thing/s is covered then you will get video of the same session which you attended.

When will I get the certificate?

The certificate is sent by email and it takes 8-12 working days.

What is a research project program?

We launch novel research projects for the participants who want exposure to research. We implement the current research trend and apply unique ways of teaching plus practical application so to make you learn in the best possible way.  As it is done online hence participants have the freedom of choosing the time of training sessions according to their choice and also save a huge amount of money in travel, accommodation, food, etc.

How research projects are done?

After you register and pay the fee we will send you welcome email having details on preparing your computer system and installation of the software. Information of molecules (dataset of molecules) on which you have to work, Files and papers of technology as well as of project.

Once you prepare your system you tell us when to conduct your training session we will schedule the session after mutual understanding of day and time for training.

The project will be done in 5 phases hence after training of 1st phase work will be assigned hence there will be no training and you have to do the work, say in 10-15 days. Once you complete that work again training will be conducted for 2nd phase and again work will be assigned and again you will do the work say in 10-15 days, like this there will be 5 phases.

While you will be working on the project and completing the tasks, to monitor the progress of your work you have to send daily project reports to your guide.

You will be directly connected to your guide as well as in a group where people who have completed their research project with us are present to solve your queries at the earliest.

Each project has a team of 3-7 members (participants from different parts of the world so it is also an excellent opportunity for making connections.

Can I pay the fee in installment?

If the fee of the project is more than Indian Rupees 50,000 then yes you can pay but for that you have to sign the document
