The online training for drug discovery has been an amazing experience for me. Its easily accessible and one can be a part of the training from any part of the world because it is conducted online. Understanding the basics of how actually molecules are selected to be in the run of being a potential drug in the future is all I ever wanted to learn and explore, and Biodiscovery group made it possible.

The Molecular Dynamic Simulation (MDS) training session was clear, well organized. Advantages: --The trainer was accurate in time. --Most of my questions and queries were clearly answered. Disadvantages: --The MDS outcome interpretation has not been explained clearly. --Also, the fee of the workshop is very expensive from my view. Comment: In overall, I am pleased with the workshop and I highly recommend this workshop to other colleague.

I decided to join this workshop in order to get hands on experience in molecular docking. We are using network pharmacology based approaches to scientifically validate the Ayurvedic medicinal plants and formulations. In that we use docking as a validation tool for the data generated. This workshop was helpful in that aspect to get the hands on exposure. The positive things about the workshop were (1) one on one training that gave opportunity to understand the lessons well and clear the doubts, (2) introduced different tools/software that gave an idea how to select them based on the application and (3) the trainers showed the patience to clear the doubts. I felt it would have been excellent if the theory part was explained in a proper and organised way which was weak at many places. Also felt that it would have been useful if you had provided some video links to refer after the course hours. Also have the opinion that the fee of INR. 17000 only for modelling and docking was higher. Altogether it was a nice experience for the last 20 days and I thank all the trainers and the BD team! Wish the BD team all the best in your future endeavours!!!

The training programme is very useful for developing basic knowledge on Protein modelling and interpreting the Molecular Dynamics mechanism. Overall the institution is very cooperative and supportive, especially, Yash sir. Thank You

The course contents and the tutor who taught are really good. I would like to mention that a video tutorial would have been lot better along with chat on Skype(to clear doubts), like the coursera workshops. It s really good to know that the tutors are extending their support to clear doubts if any, even after the workshop. Thank you for all the support.

I found the workshop very helpful as it will not only help in my PhD but also in future endeavours. Devadrita Dey Sarkar made many of doubts cleared in very easy way. Overall I found the workshop enlightening and helpful for me.

Overall it was good. Bioinfo/analysis part was a little difficult to understand. The sessions would have been better if they have audio than text. That would have been more interactive. But very informative overall..for a starter.

Name of the program: 7-day NGS workshop: 1- The trainer is very knowledgeable and can answer any question related to the topic. 2- I suggest that the next NGS training to be as a project-based learning workshop instead of sending theoretical information and YouTube videos via Skype. In other words, the training is better to be on a project related to the topic, and the trainer sends tasks gradually to the participants to be performed daily, then Q&A session for every task to answer all doubts. Briefly, like last year Drug discovery technology workshop which was very interesting and amazing.

Learning NGS was really useful and informative for me. It helped to enhance my understanding in NGS. Hope more workshops in future. Thank you!

I completed a two month training in computational aided drug designing. I got to learn protein optimization and energy minimization which can further aid me in my higher education. The staffs were very helpful and the concept they gave were all straight forward. I just have one request that instead of two months they should also conduct six months training which can be further beneficial. My overall training experience was very pleasant and I'm happy and satisfied with my training.

sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery. Please check the feedback as important and try to console our feedback.

It was nice learning many things throughout the duration of the course. The teaching as well as assistance towards queries were attended properly. I have enjoyed learning things with your group. Hope there would be some training program which could deal with the binding site analysis etc to predict the active site of a protein. Thanks.

Guidance and clarification was very good. Now i have confidence and experience in Research areas. The drug can be tested using clinical trials(wet lab) and carried out for the treatment of cancer.

My project is regarding the design of new inhibitors for HIV integrase, by blocking its site of action and hence preventing the disease. AIDS is a renowned disease which is still in need of a cure. My project focuses directly on the aspect of finding a drug for the disease. It has many phases and is systematic in its design. I found the project structure highly constructive and easy to learn. The softwares can be easily accessed through the help of a link provided. I have gained presumptuous knowledge regarding the various steps followed in drug designing and molecular modelling. Now, I am confident enough to take up a related project and work on it successfully.

I am very happy to complete my project entitled Study to test the binding of THC- Delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol & derivatives on Acetylcholine binding protein (AChBP): A Virtual Screening & Molecular Docking.At start of the project I was puzzled how I will complete,but due to complete guidance from BioDiscovery Group I completed my project. I specially thank the team for their continuous guidance and clarification about my project work. I am excited that, project I worked on has been submitted for publications. As I am a research scholar and doing research on Alzheimer's disease using bioinformatics applications and techniques, for this reason I found your project was promising and was of great interest because it is directly associated to my research. Thus learning state-of the art tools and techniques was a boon for enhancing my knowledge and their applications in real world problems and research studies. The techniques that I learnt from this project will definitely improve my potentialities towards my research that I am currently pursuing. Also the software that were used in this project are free software, so that we can use them in our different studies. Therefore this project helped a lot to enhance my knowledge of Computer Aided Drug Designing. I am happy of completing the research project in biodiscovery entitled Molecular Modeling study of 4-Phenyl-1H-Imidazole and its derivatives as potential inhibitor of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO).Initially,I was hesitated to indulge in this project,but after 2 classes,it became my part of life.Akansha mam and Deva sir supported us all the time.Asif sir do guided us to complete the project.He always reply us with an answer whenever we asked doubts.we have planned to present and publish this work,so kindly guide for that too.And suggest us a place to do this work in a wet lab too.Its really nice working under the guidance of you all sir.

The workshop added valuable training, but it needs more organization regarding material preparation and time......it needs much more than two days to fulfill it's objectives and it needs presenting data in sequenced organized way so that someone who has not got a similar training before can benefit..also it is recommended that additional trained instructors help the main instructor especially with the practical part so that we do not waste so much time trying to help each participant with the same instructor.......overall I was so happy to attend the workshop but I expected to get more benefit

It was an interactive workshop. There is lots to take back from the workshop. Learnt many new things. Looking forward for more such opportunities

The training course was not well not organized. We spent most of day one on resolving some problems with some of participants. It was obvious that most of the participants were not familiar with the basics of Linux and even windows which in turn consumes the time specified for each section, so we didn't finish the schedule of day one and we continue working on that schedule on day 2. Consequently, we didn't spend time on some sections of day2 and in particular those sections concern with analyzing the data we've got, which is the most important part that makes me register to the course. Actually for me, these two days were just like we followed a procedure written in the official NAMD & VMD tutorial, which I can do it on my own! So we follow a procedure that anyone can do using the tutorial, then we got data and we finish without analyzing what we've got! -I think it will better if the training course more than 2 days -The level of the course (Basic, intermediate, etc.) should be specified -The requirements before attending the course should be clearly outlined. I had a great time attending this workshop. It gave me an insight about many different topics and enlightened me on the prospect of Drug Designing. All in All, I benifited a lot from this training, and I'm now more aware of how research studies are conducted. My sincere thanks to the organizers.

Workshop was good. It really opened up the knowledge of drug design and discovery.

It was a good learning experience, I would appreciate Mr. Asif's oration skills and patience. Although a lot of informative material was sent prior to workshop I would suggest that in the introduction presentation please add a little discussion on algorithms used in drug design, it would be helpful. 2 days workshop on practical approach in molecular simulation and dynamics , opened new ideas of research relevant to my research field in virology and cancer,but more practical application on cases studies is required by extending time from 2 days to 5 days this will help trainee to acquire skills in practising on softwares,also another point trainer may need qualified assistant (aware with workshop softwares) to help trainees especially if number of participants more than 15 Otherwise , overall evaluation was great
