I hadn't studied even a single paper of bioinformatics in our whole curriculum. Though I am naive, I felt very comfortable in learning this 1 month program. I had worked on a research project under the guidance of Dr. Asif Naqvi. He was really very helpful and kind during the course of the project. I have also done workshops with Biodiscovery Group which has helped me in my career and many different ways. The team was very helpful and very quick whenever I was in need of any help or faced any doubts. The project was explained and demonstrated to me in a well and organised way. Looking forward to work with this firm again in my near future.

It was an informative research project as i learned alot about the computational approaches for drug discoveries and designing. Thanks for giving me this opportunity and for helping me to build my future career. Adding some phases will be interesting and informative such as drug target selection, Homology modeling ( in case of no protein structure available in PDB), virtual screening based on either structural similarity or pharmacophore similarity and protein 3D structure analysis. Special thanks for Prof. Asif for helping me in the research project and for his great efforts too.

It was a very good experience I had with BioDiscovery group. The work went on smooth and the training was good, supplemented with appropriate materials to be equipped with the subject matter. The trainers were patient and helpful. I got an Experience Letter too from Asif Naqvi (CEO) for having researched in here. By a positive approach, excellence and efficiency of work, towards the projects, I am confident that BioDiscovery Group is on its way to provide me the credentials with the aid of a publication and/or a poster at International conference. Overall it was very interesting and fantastic experience to research at the BioDiscovery Group.

I have worked on Ebola virus program and being in touch with biodiscovery group people since past 8 months. The course work designed is very useful to get hands on drug designing concept. Being a beginner in the field of biotechnology, i learned a lot and my curiosity level has gone much higher. The workshop was amazing although i faced some difficulty in understanding some points due to my course level (2nd year). Waiting to explore much in this field and for some more good experiences ahead!

It was one of the most informative workshop I've attended. It encapsulated the essence of in-silico drug designing by providing both theoretical and practical knowledge on the same. As a second year B.Sc(H) Microbiology student it gave me exposure to work upon the creative space in designing drugs against various viral and bacterial diseases. A great experience!

Sir, you have really made a difference in my knowledge. I would have not get such a great knowledge if you hadn't mediated the information among us. I myself believes that such kind of events should be organized frequently. Your relax course background is praiseworthy.

It was a good experience. The workshop was quite useful for those interested in drug designing. The best part was the practical one. We got into the different software and this will help us a lot in future. But I would like the BioDiscovery Group to rather start from the basics because there were many students who did not know even the basics, so the concepts should be clear first.

It was a good workshop and I learned a lot but the way of teaching was a little fast may be because of less time but I would just say that overall it was good and I gained something from it . I liked the way of teaching of Asif Naqvi sir.

It's obviously a good program, and much practical dependent. It helps me to understand protein structure, folding pattern and ligand docking more deeply. I think the course should cover more area and more than 2 days then it will be more helpful for the students and researcher.

Valuable experience in field of in-silico drug designing for beginners. The workshop created an interest in field of bioinformatics and gave us options to work in research areas too.Such workshops should be conducted and preferably for longer duration.

I had some basic knowledge about docking. But I didn't know how to make pdb structure of ligand. Also in workshop I learnt how to detect H-bond between Ligand and the protein molecule. Also Learnt how set docking parameters around a single residue. overall I feel that I have learnt a lot from the workshop. Hope that in future if I have any query then organiser will be help in sorting out my problem.

Being a student of biomedical engineering, I was so much interested in going in the field of drug designing. So I planned to attend this workshop so that I could explore my knowledge in this field and this workshop was very much helpful to me as I learnt many thing there which could help me in future.

The workshop on "in-silico drug discovery & designing" was a well-organized event. It was a good experience for the beginners in this area of research, as the contents as well as the delivery-mode were sufficient to kindle a lot of interest in the new-comers. However, I'd like to say that two days are slightly too less to comprehend the subject in its entirety. It would be good if the workshop could be stretched to a longer duration and the things are covered in slight more details.

Work shop is quite informative specially regarding steps/procedure for autodock which are provided in very straightforward and easy way. It would be more favourable if such protocol for modeller can also be provided.
