The key to a successful practical workshop is an interactive environment, which is what I found at the 5-day workshop on Drug Discovery, hosted at Bangalore University. Under the guidance of the organizer, Mr. Asif Naqvi, we learnt, not just the basics of drug discovery, but also how to use the different software related to it. This is the first workshop I have attended where practical application is given more emphasis to enable us to learn better. The workshop was good which provide the overview of docking. The workshop mainly focused on carrying out the docking and not much on the analysis of outcome which we get. So it has to be improved more on result interpretation part. You can cover less topics but whatever you are teaching it should be clear to the students, otherwise it is not much of use. May you improve it to make student understand what you are teaching. Thank you.

sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery. I completed a two month training in computational aided drug designing. I got to learn protein optimization and energy minimization which can further aid me in my higher education.
