We had an awesome experience over here. It would have been best if you had mailed us all the topics and flowcharts a day before the workshop so we should have come here with all preparation... Overall it was good. Thank you.

Overall I think it was good but I think it should be more organized in the sense that if the exhibitor has a problem, it must be replaced by another person.

Dr. Pedro Paz

Grupo Integrador GAP, attended the program at Next Generation Sequencing

The course was well conducted. I did learn the concept. I think though for prole who haven't done computer assisted drug design or similar things, it should probably have been for a longer time.

Maitili Varma

University of Essex, attended the program at Bangalore

Yes, the workshop was very interesting. I am from zoology background and have even no basic knowledge of bioinformatics. So for the students like me the trainer did a good job. I learned a lot. But it also have some lacunae that there is a shortage of time due to which the trainer cant get along the beginners like me with other participants. Best wishes Regards

The workshop is really organize and interested. Because we learned fundamental/basic aspect and detail procedure of molecular dynamic simulation which without such eworkshop one will hardly learn elsewhere. Therefore, we want to extend our appreciation to the BioDiscovery Group for making Bioinformatics easy not only in India or Asia, but to the whole world

The workshop was very helpful for my research work. Naqvi sir taught the critical and complecated steps in very easy manner. Now I am confident that I can use these molecular modelling softwares by my own on my laptop at my time. No restrictions, as the softwares provided and taught were freely available. Now I am independent for doing CADD studies.

Shivraj Naik

The workshop was good and informative. I have got a clear idea about the techniques related to molecular modeling, MD simulation and visualization. The instructor was very patient and tried to make me understand every steps in detail. Thanks to BioDiscovery Group for organizing this e-workshop. I am looking forward for more endeavors like this in future.

Mousumi Hazra

Gurukula Kangri University Haridwar

The workshop was good which provide the overview of docking. The workshop mainly focused on carrying out the docking and not much on the analysis of outcome which we get. So it has to be improved more on result interpretation part. You can cover less topics but whatever you are teaching it should be clear to the students, otherwise it is not much of use. May you improve it to make student understand what you are teaching. Thank you.

Tushar Lodha

THis programme really helpfull to me. my sincere suggestion is instead of chatting you provide live classes.

SIVA KESAVARAO KOMMULA

This is the first workshop I have attended of it's kind. While enrolling I was apprehensive of the idea of taking an online learning program. It was indeed a good learning experience. Also while exploring new subjects students like me expect patience from the guide , and my expectation was satisfied a 100%. Thank you so much & hope this helps me build a better career as a researcher. P.S. Miss Vandana and Mr. Yash were really nice throughout the program. I felt good to be a part of the workshop. Hope to see you in future with more learning . Thanks and I wish BioDiscovery Group all the best for everything they do in future.

My feedback to you is a positive one, with a slight downside which i know it's not up to you. Here i mean the connectivity issues which dampen the light, interesting and catchy atmosphere of the workshop. It was well structured with no irrelevant information, straight to the chase and very useful to know and apply. I thank you for the opportunity and i hope i'll get to work with you guys again soon! Megha is a great trainer, keep up the good work!

The course can be more informative and the software training can be given in more detail, since the training was given only to complete the present study, and the other modules and the other options in the software was less known. Hence the practical application may become a little difficult if we perform an individual study.

Learning NGS was really useful and informative for me. It helped to enhance my understanding in NGS. Hope more workshops in future. Thank you!

Lisina.K.V

Bharathiar University

Name of the program: 7-day NGS workshop: 1- The trainer is very knowledgeable and can answer any question related to the topic. 2- I suggest that the next NGS training to be as a project-based learning workshop instead of sending theoretical information and YouTube videos via Skype. In other words, the training is better to be on a project related to the topic, and the trainer sends tasks gradually to the participants to be performed daily, then Q&A session for every task to answer all doubts. Briefly, like last year Drug discovery technology workshop which was very interesting and amazing.

Abdularahman Abdulkader

Overall it was good. Bioinfo/analysis part was a little difficult to understand. The sessions would have been better if they have audio than text. That would have been more interactive. But very informative overall..for a starter.

Sapna Godavarthi

I found the workshop very helpful as it will not only help in my PhD but also in future endeavours. Devadrita Dey Sarkar made many of doubts cleared in very easy way. Overall I found the workshop enlightening and helpful for me.

ANUBRATA PAUL

SRM University, Haryana, Centre for Drug Design Discovery & Development (C-4D)

The course contents and the tutor who taught are really good. I would like to mention that a video tutorial would have been lot better along with chat on Skype(to clear doubts), like the coursera workshops. It s really good to know that the tutors are extending their support to clear doubts if any, even after the workshop. Thank you for all the support.

P. Kalyani

Many thanks for providing the opportunity to learn something new in such an easy way. I have one suggestion though, that you could schedule the classes for the same time for all students with an interactive chatting manner. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

I decided to join this workshop in order to get hands on experience in molecular docking. We are using network pharmacology based approaches to scientifically validate the Ayurvedic medicinal plants and formulations. In that we use docking as a validation tool for the data generated. This workshop was helpful in that aspect to get the hands on exposure. The positive things about the workshop were (1) one on one training that gave opportunity to understand the lessons well and clear the doubts, (2) introduced different tools/software that gave an idea how to select them based on the application and (3) the trainers showed the patience to clear the doubts. I felt it would have been excellent if the theory part was explained in a proper and organised way which was weak at many places. Also felt that it would have been useful if you had provided some video links to refer after the course hours. Also have the opinion that the fee of INR. 17000 only for modelling and docking was higher. Altogether it was a nice experience for the last 20 days and I thank all the trainers and the BD team! Wish the BD team all the best in your future endeavours!!!

The Molecular Dynamic Simulation (MDS) training session was clear, well organized. Advantages: --The trainer was accurate in time. --Most of my questions and queries were clearly answered. Disadvantages: --The MDS outcome interpretation has not been explained clearly. --Also, the fee of the workshop is very expensive from my view. Comment: In overall, I am pleased with the workshop and I highly recommend this workshop to other colleague.

The online training for drug discovery has been an amazing experience for me. Its easily accessible and one can be a part of the training from any part of the world because it is conducted online. Understanding the basics of how actually molecules are selected to be in the run of being a potential drug in the future is all I ever wanted to learn and explore, and Biodiscovery group made it possible.
