The 8 Day Molecular Docking workshop by BDG Lifesciences, led by Ms. Sharvari Kulkarni, was an outstanding experience. Ms. Kulkarni’s exceptional teaching style stood out—she patiently broke down complex concepts with remarkable clarity and customized the sessions to match my learning pace. Her deep expertise and willingness to address all my queries made the workshop both engaging and highly effective. The hands-on exercises provided invaluable insights into protein-ligand interactions and docking parameter optimization. This workshop has greatly boosted my confidence in computational drug design. Thank you, Ms. Sharvari Ma'am, for such a rewarding learning journey!

It was a very informative experience attending a 5-day e-workshop on "Drug Discovery and Design". Our Mentor, Sharvari Kulkarni, was more like a friend than a teacher, who guided and improvised our knowledge and gave us the opportunity to try the hands-on training in real-time during the live class, unlike other workshops where you are struggling with it as homework. A confident, patient, and inspiring mentor like her is rare to find. I am very thankful to hardworking mentors and BDG Lifesciences for providing these opportunities in a timely and having such profound mentors. Will again attend future workshops and strongly recommend others. Thank you very much for everything!! Overall a wonderful experience.

I am very grateful to the BDG Lifesciences for organizing a workshop on Exome sequencing analysis, and introducing me to Dr. Bharati Mittal who was the resource person for the workshop. I am especially thankful to Dr. Bharati Mittal for sharing her extensive knowledge on such an exclusive and classified topic. It was in every bit a hand-on workshop especially for a biologist like me who wanted to venture into computational bioinformatics to conduct the NGS analysis of patient samples with little knowledge of Linux based operating systems. Dr. Bharati literally filled the gap between the lab to the patient, with her excellent teaching skills whereby she eloquently explained the biology and principle of Exome sequencing and then taught the commands that began with the fastqc file and all the way to the final annotated vcf file generation. I was allowed to use my own data for the entire analysis, which we compared to the final report. She explained the attributes of the ACMG-AMP guidelines with amazing simplicity. Despite a virtual platform, it was an exciting experience to work remotely using a lab-based server during off-hours from home, under her patient guidance. I highly recommend this workshop to all those working in basic science and computational biology backgrounds.

My project is regarding the design of new inhibitors for HIV integrase, by blocking its site of action and hence preventing the disease. AIDS is a renowned disease which is still in need of a cure. My project focuses directly on the aspect of finding a drug for the disease. It has many phases and is systematic in its design. I found the project structure highly constructive and easy to learn. The softwares can be easily accessed through the help of a link provided. I have gained presumptuous knowledge regarding the various steps followed in drug designing and molecular modelling. Now, I am confident enough to take up a related project and work on it successfully.

As I am a research scholar and doing research on Alzheimer's disease using bioinformatics applications and techniques, for this reason I found your project was promising and was of great interest because it is directly associated to my research. Thus learning state-of the art tools and techniques was a boon for enhancing my knowledge and their applications in real world problems and research studies. The techniques that I learnt from this project will definitely improve my potentialities towards my research that I am currently pursuing. Also the software that were used in this project are free software, so that we can use them in our different studies. Therefore this project helped a lot to enhance my knowledge of Computer Aided Drug Designing. The project was nicely planned, all the phases were perfectly executed as per the schedule in time and we were able to meet the deadline of the project. All the task were executed with nice coordination and cooperation of the entire team. The guide supervision was excellent which helped us a lot to meet our goal of the project. I would definitely recommend others for the project of BioDiscovery Group. It is a great learning opportunity.

What 2 say about BioDiscovery Solutions for Future?? It is just an awesome experience for me for being a part of India???s best hardcore research organisation. This is the only company in India who works 4 strengthening the profile of candidates by giving them a chance to explore their potential in various projects, training, career guidance & many more. The company offers various research projects of International acceptance & value to the students and working professionals who are pursuing their career in Biotechnology or Bioinformatics and who have a desire to work in R & D company or organisation. Besides this, company also outsource various International projects in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics which is the primary work of it. I had a great opportunity to work with some great minds as I got selected there to work on research projects & it is accepted at International Level and now in upcoming months I am going abroad to present my work as I already got a grant both 4m abroad as well as from Department of Biotechnology, India as I have to represent my country there. So it???s a feeling of pride for me. And at the last ???. This is the only company in India who works 4 strengthening the profile of candidates by giving them a chance ...2 explore their potential in various projects, training, career guidance & many more. The company gives you novel research projects, Training and International Publication.

The workshop added valuable training, but it needs more organization regarding material preparation and time......it needs much more than two days to fulfill it's objectives and it needs presenting data in sequenced organized way so that someone who has not got a similar training before can benefit..also it is recommended that additional trained instructors help the main instructor especially with the practical part so that we do not waste so much time trying to help each participant with the same instructor.......overall I was so happy to attend the workshop but I expected to get more benefit

The training course was not well not organized. We spent most of day one on resolving some problems with some of participants. It was obvious that most of the participants were not familiar with the basics of Linux and even windows which in turn consumes the time specified for each section, so we didn't finish the schedule of day one and we continue working on that schedule on day 2. Consequently, we didn't spend time on some sections of day2 and in particular those sections concern with analyzing the data we've got, which is the most important part that makes me register to the course. Actually for me, these two days were just like we followed a procedure written in the official NAMD & VMD tutorial, which I can do it on my own! So we follow a procedure that anyone can do using the tutorial, then we got data and we finish without analyzing what we've got! -I think it will better if the training course more than 2 days -The level of the course (Basic, intermediate, etc.) should be specified -The requirements before attending the course should be clearly outlined. Thanks

2 days workshop on practical approach in molecular simulation and dynamics , opened new ideas of research relevant to my research field in virology and cancer, but more practical application on cases studies is required by extending time from 2 days to 5 days this will help trainee to acquire skills in practising on softwares, also another point trainer may need qualified assistant (aware with workshop softwares) to help trainees especially if number of participants more than 15 Otherwise , overall evaluation was great
