I would like say thank you to the organizers to made the course online it gave me the opportunity to learn in my place only. The course really went over my expectations. It was a very informative experience attending a 5-day e-workshop on "Drug Discovery and Design". Our Mentor, Sharvari Kulkarni, was more like a friend than a teacher, who guided and improvised our knowledge and gave us the opportunity to try the hands-on training in real-time during the live class, unlike other workshops where you are struggling with it as homework. A confident, patient, and inspiring mentor like her is rare to find. I am very thankful to hardworking mentors and BDG Lifesciences for providing these opportunities in a timely and having such profound mentors. Will again attend future workshops and strongly recommend others. Thank you very much for everything!! Overall a wonderful experience.

I am very grateful to the BDG Lifesciences for organizing a workshop on Exome sequencing analysis, and introducing me to Dr. Bharati Mittal who was the resource person for the workshop. I am especially thankful to Dr. Bharati Mittal for sharing her extensive knowledge on such an exclusive and classified topic. It was in every bit a hand-on workshop especially for a biologist like me who wanted to venture into computational bioinformatics to conduct the NGS analysis of patient samples with little knowledge of Linux based operating systems. Dr. Bharati literally filled the gap between the lab to the patient, with her excellent teaching skills whereby she eloquently explained the biology and principle of Exome sequencing and then taught the commands that began with the fastqc file and all the way to the final annotated vcf file generation. I was allowed to use my own data for the entire analysis, which we compared to the final report. She explained the attributes of the ACMG-AMP guidelines with amazing simplicity. Despite a virtual platform, it was an exciting experience to work remotely using a lab-based server during off-hours from home, under her patient guidance. I highly recommend this workshop to all those working in basic science and computational biology backgrounds.

Regarding Artificial Intelligence in Biology. I found it will take time to learn it as not having computer background anyhow it was fine to see this what is covered in biology with it.

It was a great experience learning artificial intelligence in biology with BioDiscovery group. I get to know about many new fields and areas which have AI application and influence. Thank you BioDiscovery group for helping me in learning this new researched area.

I am doing my genetic engineering actually before this program i thought that i knew everything about drugs and how to design them and etc but after getting through this training program only i realise that there is a lot to drugs and their actions plus it made me much interested in the program. On Molecular Modeling Study of binding mode of Inhibitors and Biological Targets in Cancer, Tuberculosis & HIV from 18 - 22 December, 2018.I really learnt all the steps of drug design in very systematic n well planned manner. This has really enhanced my learning that i really required for my skills.In future also i will be interested in attending such workshops n training to enhance my skills in bioinformatics so pls keep me updating about this as i want to increase my teaching skills n also interested in enhancing my skills in research too. I think u can provide me the same. Thanks alot n keep me in touch with biodiscovery group.
