The key to a successful practical workshop is an interactive environment, which is what I found at the 5-day workshop on Drug Discovery, hosted at Bangalore University. Under the guidance of the organizer, Mr. Asif Naqvi, we learnt, not just the basics of drug discovery, but also how to use the different software related to it. We did face some difficulties due to server error for which no one can be blamed for but we somehow made it. I feel like I learned something so I think the money spent was worth it. I have some suggestions: Please do mention the pre-requisite knowledge about the workshop. As a 1st year Undergraduate student, I had trouble initially understanding some complex models like the ramachandran plot, dihedral torsion angles, etc, thus it would be good for other students to prepare in advance before the commencement of the workshop. Overall I'm content :)

sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery.
