The key to a successful practical workshop is an interactive environment, which is what I found at the 5-day workshop on Drug Discovery, hosted at Bangalore University. Under the guidance of the organizer, Mr. Asif Naqvi, we learnt, not just the basics of drug discovery, but also how to use the different software related to it. This is the first workshop I have attended where practical application is given more emphasis to enable us to learn better. I had received an e workshop/ training on vaccine design.I found the whole session quite knowledgeable and helpful. I would suggest to increase the duration of each training so as to understand the concepts comprehensively as lots of tools and techniques get involved. sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery. The staffs were very helpful and the concept they gave were all straight forward.
