It was very good experience to learn about drug designing. I felt very nice that personal attention had been given to each students if any of them face any problem to learn things that were being taught there.

AKANKSHA KUMARI

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIITA), attended the program at AIIMS, New Delhi 2014

Valuable experience in field of in-silico drug designing for beginners. The workshop created an interest in field of bioinformatics and gave us options to work in research areas too.Such workshops should be conducted and preferably for longer duration.

Apurva Srivastava

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIITA), attended the program at AIIMS, New Delhi 2014

It's obviously a good program, and much practical dependent. It helps me to understand protein structure, folding pattern and ligand docking more deeply. I think the course should cover more area and more than 2 days then it will be more helpful for the students and researcher.

Md. Summon Hossain

South Asian University, New Delhi, attended the program at AIIMS, New Delhi 2014

It was a good workshop and I learned a lot but the way of teaching was a little fast may be because of less time but I would just say that overall it was good and I gained something from it . I liked the way of teaching of Asif Naqvi sir.

Anukampa pandey

Banaras Hindu University, attended the program at AIIMS, New Delhi 2014

It was a good experience. The workshop was quite useful for those interested in drug designing. The best part was the practical one. We got into the different software and this will help us a lot in future. But I would like the BioDiscovery Group to rather start from the basics because there were many students who did not know even the basics, so the concepts should be clear first.

PRERNA PANT

Sir, you have really made a difference in my knowledge. I would have not get such a great knowledge if you hadn't mediated the information among us. I myself believes that such kind of events should be organized frequently. Your relax course background is praiseworthy.

It was one of the most informative workshop I've attended. It encapsulated the essence of in-silico drug designing by providing both theoretical and practical knowledge on the same. As a second year B.Sc(H) Microbiology student it gave me exposure to work upon the creative space in designing drugs against various viral and bacterial diseases. A great experience!

Being a beginner in the field of biotechnology, i learned a lot and my curiosity level has gone much higher. The workshop was amazing although i faced some difficulty in understanding some points due to my course level (2nd year). Waiting to explore much in this field and for some more good experiences ahead!

2 days workshop on practical approach in molecular simulation and dynamics , opened new ideas of research relevant to my research field in virology and cancer, but more practical application on cases studies is required by extending time from 2 days to 5 days this will help trainee to acquire skills in practising on softwares, also another point trainer may need qualified assistant (aware with workshop softwares) to help trainees especially if number of participants more than 15 Otherwise , overall evaluation was great

Samah Loutfy

It was a good learning experience, I would appreciate Mr. Asif's oration skills and patience. Although a lot of informative material was sent prior to workshop I would suggest that in the introduction presentation please add a little discussion on algorithms used in drug design, it would be helpful. Thank you.

Regarding Artificial Intelligence in Biology. I found it will take time to learn it as not having computer background anyhow it was fine to see this what is covered in biology with it.

I am very grateful to the BDG Lifesciences for organizing a workshop on Exome sequencing analysis, and introducing me to Dr. Bharati Mittal who was the resource person for the workshop. I am especially thankful to Dr. Bharati Mittal for sharing her extensive knowledge on such an exclusive and classified topic. It was in every bit a hand-on workshop especially for a biologist like me who wanted to venture into computational bioinformatics to conduct the NGS analysis of patient samples with little knowledge of Linux based operating systems. Dr. Bharati literally filled the gap between the lab to the patient, with her excellent teaching skills whereby she eloquently explained the biology and principle of Exome sequencing and then taught the commands that began with the fastqc file and all the way to the final annotated vcf file generation. I was allowed to use my own data for the entire analysis, which we compared to the final report. She explained the attributes of the ACMG-AMP guidelines with amazing simplicity. Despite a virtual platform, it was an exciting experience to work remotely using a lab-based server during off-hours from home, under her patient guidance. I highly recommend this workshop to all those working in basic science and computational biology backgrounds.

I am very happy to complete my project entitled Study to test the binding of THC- Delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol & derivatives on Acetylcholine binding protein (AChBP): A Virtual Screening & Molecular Docking. At start of the project I was puzzled how I will complete, but due to complete guidance from BioDiscovery Group I completed my project. I specially thank the team for their continuous guidance and clarification about my project work. I am excited that, project I worked on has been submitted for publications. BioDiscovery have even given me idea how take my project to the next phase(i.e Wet lab).

My project is regarding the design of new inhibitors for HIV integrase, by blocking its site of action and hence preventing the disease. AIDS is a renowned disease which is still in need of a cure. My project focuses directly on the aspect of finding a drug for the disease. It has many phases and is systematic in its design. I found the project structure highly constructive and easy to learn. The softwares can be easily accessed through the help of a link provided. I have gained presumptuous knowledge regarding the various steps followed in drug designing and molecular modelling. Now, I am confident enough to take up a related project and work on it successfully.

"I would like to thank BioDiscovery Solutions for Future for conducting training programmes in bioinformatics especially online. I am a fresher to this field. I hadn't studied even a single paper of bioinformatics in our whole curriculum. Though I am naive, I felt very comfortable in learning this 1 month program. Tutor's explanation was so clear and simplified this tough topic very well. It's really worthy to join this program. I hope you will continue to conduct these kind of programs, I am sure lots of students will get benefited globally. All the very best to your entire team. a small suggestion from me, though it is not so important, it would be little better if these certificates were hard copies. Thank you very much.

It was nice learning many things throughout the duration of the course. The teaching as well as assistance towards queries were attended properly. I have enjoyed learning things with your group. Hope there would be some training program which could deal with the binding site analysis etc to predict the active site of a protein. Thanks.

sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery. Please check the feedback as important and try to console our feedback.

I completed a two month training in computational aided drug designing. I got to learn protein optimization and energy minimization which can further aid me in my higher education. The staffs were very helpful and the concept they gave were all straight forward. I just have one request that instead of two months they should also conduct six months training which can be further beneficial. My overall training experience was very pleasant and I'm happy and satisfied with my training.
