The online training for drug discovery has been an amazing experience for me. Its easily accessible and one can be a part of the training from any part of the world because it is conducted online. Understanding the basics of how actually molecules are selected to be in the run of being a potential drug in the future is all I ever wanted to learn and explore, and Biodiscovery group made it possible.

The Molecular Dynamic Simulation (MDS) training session was clear, well organized. Advantages: --The trainer was accurate in time. --Most of my questions and queries were clearly answered. Disadvantages: --The MDS outcome interpretation has not been explained clearly. --Also, the fee of the workshop is very expensive from my view. Comment: In overall, I am pleased with the workshop and I highly recommend this workshop to other colleague.

I decided to join this workshop in order to get hands on experience in molecular docking. We are using network pharmacology based approaches to scientifically validate the Ayurvedic medicinal plants and formulations. In that we use docking as a validation tool for the data generated. This workshop was helpful in that aspect to get the hands on exposure. The positive things about the workshop were (1) one on one training that gave opportunity to understand the lessons well and clear the doubts, (2) introduced different tools/software that gave an idea how to select them based on the application and (3) the trainers showed the patience to clear the doubts. I felt it would have been excellent if the theory part was explained in a proper and organised way which was weak at many places. Also felt that it would have been useful if you had provided some video links to refer after the course hours. Also have the opinion that the fee of INR. 17000 only for modelling and docking was higher. Altogether it was a nice experience for the last 20 days and I thank all the trainers and the BD team! Wish the BD team all the best in your future endeavours!!!

The training programme is very useful for developing basic knowledge on Protein modelling and interpreting the Molecular Dynamics mechanism. Overall the institution is very cooperative and supportive, especially, Yash sir. Thank You

The course contents and the tutor who taught are really good. I would like to mention that a video tutorial would have been lot better along with chat on Skype(to clear doubts), like the coursera workshops. It s really good to know that the tutors are extending their support to clear doubts if any, even after the workshop. Thank you for all the support.

I found the workshop very helpful as it will not only help in my PhD but also in future endeavours. Devadrita Dey Sarkar made many of doubts cleared in very easy way. Overall I found the workshop enlightening and helpful for me.

Overall it was good. Bioinfo/analysis part was a little difficult to understand. The sessions would have been better if they have audio than text. That would have been more interactive. But very informative overall..for a starter.

Name of the program: 7-day NGS workshop: 1- The trainer is very knowledgeable and can answer any question related to the topic. 2- I suggest that the next NGS training to be as a project-based learning workshop instead of sending theoretical information and YouTube videos via Skype. In other words, the training is better to be on a project related to the topic, and the trainer sends tasks gradually to the participants to be performed daily, then Q&A session for every task to answer all doubts. Briefly, like last year Drug discovery technology workshop which was very interesting and amazing.

Learning NGS was really useful and informative for me. It helped to enhance my understanding in NGS. Hope more workshops in future. Thank you!

I completed a two month training in computational aided drug designing. I got to learn protein optimization and energy minimization which can further aid me in my higher education. The staffs were very helpful and the concept they gave were all straight forward. I just have one request that instead of two months they should also conduct six months training which can be further beneficial. My overall training experience was very pleasant and I'm happy and satisfied with my training.

sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery. Please check the feedback as important and try to console our feedback.

It was nice learning many things throughout the duration of the course. The teaching as well as assistance towards queries were attended properly. I have enjoyed learning things with your group. Hope there would be some training program which could deal with the binding site analysis etc to predict the active site of a protein. Thanks.

The project taught us new skills and gave us the vivid and clear knowledge of virtual screening. It helped me in gaining insight of the topic.

I had worked on a research project under the guidance of Dr. Asif Naqvi. He was really very helpful and kind during the course of the project. I have also done workshops with Biodiscovery Group which has helped me in my career and many different ways. The team was very helpful and very quick whenever I was in need of any help or faced any doubts. The project was explained and demonstrated to me in a well and organised way. It was an informative research project as i learned alot about the computational approaches for drug discoveries and designing. Thanks for giving me this opportunity and for helping me to build my future career. Adding some phases will be interesting and informative such as drug target selection, Homology modeling ( in case of no protein structure available in PDB), virtual screening based on either structural similarity or pharmacophore similarity and protein 3D structure analysis. It was a very good experience I had with BioDiscovery group. The work went on smooth and the training was good, supplemented with appropriate materials to be equipped with the subject matter. The trainers were patient and helpful. I got an Experience Letter too from Asif Naqvi (CEO) for having researched in here. By a positive approach, excellence and efficiency of work, towards the projects, I am confident that BioDiscovery Group is on its way to provide me the credentials with the aid of a publication and/or a poster at International conference. Overall it was very interesting and fantastic experience to research at the BioDiscovery Group.

I have worked on Ebola virus program and being in touch with biodiscovery group people since past 8 months. The course work designed is very useful to get hands on drug designing concept. Well-managed program. The speaker allowed the participant to give the ideas and discussed the things that could not be solved on time. Suggestion: The speaker should tell us the steps with the theoretical facts, so that the participants will understand it better without just remembering the command and algorithm. Besides, the instructor also need to prepare the precautions if the technical problems happen during the program for example: to fix the software and hardware problem, how and how. And in all, it was good. Congratulations :)

I found that this workshop is useful for someone like me who lack of basic about the computational stuff. It being conduct step by step and can be easily understood. However, the duration can be shorten up to less than 5 days.

Good training facilities. Materials and notes that provided were very useful and helpful for future references. Tq

Overall was ok, suitable for a beginner who have very limited knowledge on in-silico drug designing like me. I could only suggest that the instructor should explain more on the functions in each software that we use or explain more on the reason why we're using that particular function. Thanks

Really enjoyed the workshop. It was easy to understand each step with efficient hands on and understandable of manual.

I came to this course due to I realized prediction is needed for my research work due to I will need to screen ligand competitors to be an adjunct-therapy for infectious diseases. After when through so much procedure to obtained such information for test ligand, I think it is now possible for me to do it in my place. Unfortunately, this course only mentioned about known chemical structure, I will need to find another way on how to find my nucleotide sequence structure and docking the nucleotide to the protein of interest.

The workshop was highly informative and the step-by-step teaching methodology was easy to follow. The content discussed is beneficial and is directly applicable to my current project.

That workshop was very helpful for me as i have learned how to Dock 2 molecules with AutoDock Software...

Overall this workshop is useful.I hope the instructor could give more explanation on the software, the meaning of the command or syntax, and the application of software in future work.

The 5-days workshop on Drug discovery and Designing was very useful. I have gained an overview about the strategies and steps involved in drug-designing using computational methods. The hands-on training on various software has made me capable to apply these in the research work that I am involved in. In all, I can say that this workshop was very informative and highly useful and research-based.
