The online training for drug discovery has been an amazing experience for me. Its easily accessible and one can be a part of the training from any part of the world because it is conducted online. Understanding the basics of how actually molecules are selected to be in the run of being a potential drug in the future is all I ever wanted to learn and explore, and Biodiscovery group made it possible.

The Molecular Dynamic Simulation (MDS) training session was clear, well organized. Advantages: --The trainer was accurate in time. --Most of my questions and queries were clearly answered. Disadvantages: --The MDS outcome interpretation has not been explained clearly. --Also, the fee of the workshop is very expensive from my view. Comment: In overall, I am pleased with the workshop and I highly recommend this workshop to other colleague.

I decided to join this workshop in order to get hands on experience in molecular docking. We are using network pharmacology based approaches to scientifically validate the Ayurvedic medicinal plants and formulations. In that we use docking as a validation tool for the data generated. This workshop was helpful in that aspect to get the hands on exposure. The positive things about the workshop were (1) one on one training that gave opportunity to understand the lessons well and clear the doubts, (2) introduced different tools/software that gave an idea how to select them based on the application and (3) the trainers showed the patience to clear the doubts. I felt it would have been excellent if the theory part was explained in a proper and organised way which was weak at many places. Also felt that it would have been useful if you had provided some video links to refer after the course hours. Also have the opinion that the fee of INR. 17000 only for modelling and docking was higher. Altogether it was a nice experience for the last 20 days and I thank all the trainers and the BD team! Wish the BD team all the best in your future endeavours!!!

The training programme is very useful for developing basic knowledge on Protein modelling and interpreting the Molecular Dynamics mechanism. Overall the institution is very cooperative and supportive, especially, Yash sir. Thank You

The course contents and the tutor who taught are really good. I would like to mention that a video tutorial would have been lot better along with chat on Skype(to clear doubts), like the coursera workshops. It s really good to know that the tutors are extending their support to clear doubts if any, even after the workshop. Thank you for all the support.

I found the workshop very helpful as it will not only help in my PhD but also in future endeavours. Devadrita Dey Sarkar made many of doubts cleared in very easy way. Overall I found the workshop enlightening and helpful for me.

Overall it was good. Bioinfo/analysis part was a little difficult to understand. The sessions would have been better if they have audio than text. That would have been more interactive. But very informative overall..for a starter.

Name of the program: 7-day NGS workshop: 1- The trainer is very knowledgeable and can answer any question related to the topic. 2- I suggest that the next NGS training to be as a project-based learning workshop instead of sending theoretical information and YouTube videos via Skype. In other words, the training is better to be on a project related to the topic, and the trainer sends tasks gradually to the participants to be performed daily, then Q&A session for every task to answer all doubts. Briefly, like last year Drug discovery technology workshop which was very interesting and amazing.

I completed a two month training in computational aided drug designing. I got to learn protein optimization and energy minimization which can further aid me in my higher education. The staffs were very helpful and the concept they gave were all straight forward. I just have one request that instead of two months they should also conduct six months training which can be further beneficial. My overall training experience was very pleasant and I'm happy and satisfied with my training.

sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery. The Workshop that I attended on Structure Biology and Proteomics was very helpful since I got to know and learn about the use of many software and their proper usage in predicting the structure of the proteins. The course instructor (Mr.Yash Singh) was very helpful with all the doubts since this was an online workshop and yet I understood every details and I enjoyed attending this a lot.

The key to a successful practical workshop is an interactive environment, which is what I found at the 5-day workshop on Drug Discovery, hosted at Bangalore University. Under the guidance of the organizer, Mr. Asif Naqvi, we learnt, not just the basics of drug discovery, but also how to use the different software related to it. This is the first workshop I have attended where practical application is given more emphasis to enable us to learn better. I certainly will use my experience, here, for my future projects and research work. I also look forward to more workshops on different tools conducted by the BioDiscovery Group, and recommend anyone and everyone interested in work related to Biological Sciences, to attend these workshops.

It was a very informative workshop. I learned a lot of computational techniques for in silico vaccine that could help me in my future career. The only comment that I've is if you can provide a workflow as the CADD workflow, which will be much better.

I am doing research on virology and this training will be useful in my further research. It was great learning experience to work under guidance of Vandana. I have gain knowledge about vaccine and in silico designing of vaccine.
