The online training for drug discovery has been an amazing experience for me. Its easily accessible and one can be a part of the training from any part of the world because it is conducted online. Understanding the basics of how actually molecules are selected to be in the run of being a potential drug in the future is all I ever wanted to learn and explore, and Biodiscovery group made it possible.

The Molecular Dynamic Simulation (MDS) training session was clear, well organized. Advantages: --The trainer was accurate in time. --Most of my questions and queries were clearly answered. Disadvantages: --The MDS outcome interpretation has not been explained clearly. --Also, the fee of the workshop is very expensive from my view. Comment: In overall, I am pleased with the workshop and I highly recommend this workshop to other colleague.

I decided to join this workshop in order to get hands on experience in molecular docking. We are using network pharmacology based approaches to scientifically validate the Ayurvedic medicinal plants and formulations. In that we use docking as a validation tool for the data generated. This workshop was helpful in that aspect to get the hands on exposure. The positive things about the workshop were (1) one on one training that gave opportunity to understand the lessons well and clear the doubts, (2) introduced different tools/software that gave an idea how to select them based on the application and (3) the trainers showed the patience to clear the doubts. I felt it would have been excellent if the theory part was explained in a proper and organised way which was weak at many places. Also felt that it would have been useful if you had provided some video links to refer after the course hours. Also have the opinion that the fee of INR. 17000 only for modelling and docking was higher. Altogether it was a nice experience for the last 20 days and I thank all the trainers and the BD team! Wish the BD team all the best in your future endeavours!!!

The training programme is very useful for developing basic knowledge on Protein modelling and interpreting the Molecular Dynamics mechanism. Overall the institution is very cooperative and supportive, especially, Yash sir. Thank You

The course contents and the tutor who taught are really good. I would like to mention that a video tutorial would have been lot better along with chat on Skype(to clear doubts), like the coursera workshops. It s really good to know that the tutors are extending their support to clear doubts if any, even after the workshop. Thank you for all the support.

I found the workshop very helpful as it will not only help in my PhD but also in future endeavours. Devadrita Dey Sarkar made many of doubts cleared in very easy way. Overall I found the workshop enlightening and helpful for me.

Overall it was good. Bioinfo/analysis part was a little difficult to understand. The sessions would have been better if they have audio than text. That would have been more interactive. But very informative overall..for a starter.

Name of the program: 7-day NGS workshop: 1- The trainer is very knowledgeable and can answer any question related to the topic. 2- I suggest that the next NGS training to be as a project-based learning workshop instead of sending theoretical information and YouTube videos via Skype. In other words, the training is better to be on a project related to the topic, and the trainer sends tasks gradually to the participants to be performed daily, then Q&A session for every task to answer all doubts. Briefly, like last year Drug discovery technology workshop which was very interesting and amazing.

Learning NGS was really useful and informative for me. It helped to enhance my understanding in NGS. Hope more workshops in future. Thank you!

I completed a two month training in computational aided drug designing. I got to learn protein optimization and energy minimization which can further aid me in my higher education. The staffs were very helpful and the concept they gave were all straight forward. I just have one request that instead of two months they should also conduct six months training which can be further beneficial. My overall training experience was very pleasant and I'm happy and satisfied with my training.

sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery. Please check the feedback as important and try to console our feedback.

The course can be more informative and the software training can be given in more detail, since the training was given only to complete the present study, and the other modules and the other options in the software was less known. Hence the practical application may become a little difficult if we perform an individual study.

The learning experience was good. I am doing my M. Pharmacy,so,it will be helpful to me in future. Before learning this study I didn't have idea much about molecular modelling and drug designing but now I have a good idea about this technology. Methodology was also good. The event was quite good with the proper training at different tools and software. It was an enriching environment to grasp new techniques of drug designing.

I attended many workshop in life but this workshop is satisfied me.

Your job for conducting this type of workshop is highly applaudable but registration fee for this workshop is quite high not every student can afford it.

The overall exposure to the different software for designing the appropriate molecules for different target proteins and most importantly the analysis of the complex between ligand and receptor was very good.

Very good experience for me, a good introduction to drug design.

Presenter was highly proficient and well dressed. The material was very good and was provided well in advance. The platform was nice. The lectures were nice too although I sensed that the presenter seemed a bit nervous at the beginning of the first session (needlessly). The nice thing about the workshop is that there are projects we can share in afterwards so that it has many applications.

This workshop gave me more understand towards the function of autodock in my research study. Besides that, I had opportunities to learn the difference knowledge because all the participants are come from difference background. In addition, drug discovery and technologies can help us to minimize the time taken in searching the suitable drug for the treatment.

Liked the 1st day presentation part where I got to hear and ponder about various questions raised by learners from different fields. Of course the workshop was a nice platform to get to know about the pharmaceutical side of chemistry, especially for me who is from a non-bio background.:) Drug designing part was fairly ok but with a lot of manual work like going to the folder again n again and writing the commands but any ways that was the methodology of the software.

I love this practical training -- you have made the hands on virtual screening training simple but comprehensive. Thanks for sharing!
